creative + executive

Hello! I’m Yukko Chan, a creative + executive professional based in Vancouver. My work sits at the intersection of theatre, film, design, marketing, community publishing, wellness design and human-centered technology.

I currently serve as Executive Director of West Coast Cultural Lab, a nonprofit connecting art, community, and technology, and as Creative Director of DinoZz Studio, a design and marketing studio. Through these roles, I explore how creativity, humanity and emerging technology can shape a better human experience.

I’m often described as cultural innovator in Vancouver’s creative community, someone who brings people together through stories, community events and accessible tools.

My strength lies in turning ideas into action. I use design thinking, storytelling, and human insight to create projects that connect people, support well-being, and respond to real community needs. This approach allows me to work across art, design, commercial and technology fields, all with the same purpose: to create meaningful results for people, partners, and stakeholders.

Current Projects:

Vancouver On Ink: a free community publication sharing local stories, art, culture and wellness
Theatre Lab Workshop Planner: an AI-assisted tool supporting creative educators and facilitators
Posture Check-in Tool: a micro wellness tool combining body awareness and AI insights
Paws Land: a community event honouring rescue volunteers, adopters, and life value/animal stories (coming soon)
